As far as I know, dead cells are dead cells, IB need a good amount of charge in them if you plan to store them 2 weeks or more.

if you bought it brand new, maybe you can talk to the shop and see what they can do for you.

i had similar case before because i over-discharged the cell.

Contact store you bought it or SMC. They usually replace dead cells

Contact SMC, I've had a few new packs with bad cells and they've always replaced them.

Try using that thing with all the buttons on it that you hold up to your ear, e-mail's and pm's isn't the greatest way to get somebodies attention.

ECHO,

SMC is very good w/ their customer service on their batteries...but some are correct, before getting on a message board - because someone doesn't answer an email - try contacting the company by phone.

EMAILS are a LUXURY that too many people take way to much advantage of...

I know that I get 35-40 "JUNK" emails a day, along with the 10-12 legitimate ones...I can only imagine that Danny/SMC receives 100's or more.

SOMEBODY has to sit and READ all those...which means SOMEBODY Isn't MATCHING cells during that time

Normally I answer emails the sameday oir next day. If you don't get a reply then email again as it must not have come through or went in my spam folder.

If you have an issue with a new pack just send it back so we can replace it or email me so we can find a solution.
