Hi Martin

Did you run a 6T at the KO GP at West London, if so what did you gear it at?

Hope you had a good time.......you looked good out there for never driving the track before?

Have put an order in for a GM 120.

Hi Martin,

I am confused
what s reference of 12 mm sintered rotor
should I put in my evo pro 9 delta?

pro delta --> 97286.2

In evo3 5.5 can I put a 12mm sintered or 15mm sintered?
to make a second life to the motor?

evo3 5.5 --> 97214.1 or 97243.1

What difference will it make while driving?
Will the car accelerate softer?

I have a GM120, and i tried to change the cables and it was impossible, my iron was at 450 degrees and it did not even melt anything, do i have to use a especial weld or iron? Thanks.

I have a genius 100 which is playing up, its not completly broken its just not working properly. If I send it back is there much chance of being able to get it replaced with a genius 120 for a fraction of the price?

a, in geared it 6,9 if i remember correctly
The track was cool

b, 12mm mag smoothens out the motor but in the pro series we always use 12,5, also usually with the evo3

c, please do not solder on the esc yourself, it features black wires out of the box and therefore changing wires is not necessary! If you really need new wires send it to gm

d, if you send your 100 to gm and add a failure description with the wish that you'd like to have it upgraded to a 120, they usually give you that choice

Hi Martin, this weekend i had a indoor race, it was a small track, 9 secons per lap, i ran with the GM 120, 6T delta and lipo 4000 25C, the motor was very smoth, good top speed and was runing with 60 degrees.
Do you ever tried using diferent rotor?
Do you change the speed control for runing lipo?
Do you think that i could been faster running with a 7Tdelta?
Wich should be the motor and speedo running temperature?
I have the GRAUPNER ULTRA DUO PLUS 50 Charger, how should i charge the lipo, normal? or should i get the update software for the charger.
Thanks for your help

What gearing would you recomend for a GM 6T around a small carpet track, very high grip, should of asked Mr. Grainger what he was on realy.

Also what settings for the speedo (GM 120)

Thanks for your time

1, Maritim looks pretty big to me :-) at least compared to some carpet tracks I run at *g*

start with gearing between 8.7 and 8.2 and work from there

I use the same setting all the time ...

6T + lipo? respect :-) that must have been scary fast *g*

Do you ever tried using diferent rotor?

not in the pro series motors

Do you change the speed control for runing lipo?
I do not use Lipo so no I don't :-)

Do you think that i could been faster running with a 7Tdelta?
I am quite sure you would...

Wich should be the motor and speedo running temperature?
motor max. 80°C, ESC below 100

I have the GRAUPNER ULTRA DUO PLUS 50 Charger, how should i charge the lipo, normal? Yes

or should i get the update software for the charger.
Keep the charger as up to date as possible!

Thanks for your help
No problem.

Nuno "the speed freak bastard" Gancho
Congrats for the 1st place.
I got 4th with a much modest evo3 5.5 on 5cell,driving was very smooth.Doing 30 laps.
How many laps were you doing Nuno?
I've noticed a white missile passing me several times

Regarding GM,whats the difference between 9.5 purple/pink and blue motors besides diferent Kv?
And in which situations are the blue better than pink/purple?
I ask this because people here prefer pink/purple but cant exactly explain why.

purple does have a 12.5mm mag, blue 12mm

Actually purple is always better as there is less fading

I bougth it used and I am not sure the timing is set to the original.

I have the B mark in the middle. Can you confirm it s the original timing?

I have sintered 12 mm N 97243.1 Is it the rigth one for evo3 5.5?

Thanks Martin, I would try a 7Delta next time, but the 6T delta was pretty easy to drive, very smoth, my problem was not to much power hehe, the motor and esc was only 60ºc.

AfonsosPT, the best round was 32Laps. Both drivers that done 32 laps was with 6T Delta heheheh
