martin, in the next update, can you make the gm's with roar zero timing modes with telemetry functional?

we have gone back to no timing speedies, and its now that the temp cut off is required more than any time, as we push the gearing right to the limit of temperature thresholds

I think since update firmware 11.6 you have that: Description: flash all three LEDs in the neutral point, if no Power software is activated.
@Roar website:
Graupner GmbH & Co. GM-Genius 120
Yellow, Red, and Green blink fast and at the same time in neutral position when the zero mode is active V13.0
Users must use Mode 0-5 after factory reset or after delivery. Modes 6-9 have high speed timing, no LED blinking. No high speed timing is allowed to set with PC-software. Mode 2 is factory setting. If high speed timing, no LED blinking.

All other functions are available, and i think Martin said that some posts ago.

that i know. And allready tried here and its all ok for me. Telemetry ticked and all 3 leds flash. There's something you must be doing wrong. My sugestion:

1. Discharge your capacitor;
2. Upgrade firmware - http://www.gm-racing.de/rwdownload/index.php?dl=154
3. Do a factory reset;
4. Receive data into Genius PC Tool (Check the number of values received);
5. Pick Telemetry;
6. Send Data;
7. Choose mode 2 on the ESC.

Now check for the flashing lights.

no I'm not doing anything wrong. I have used the GM for over 1 year now and have them in 3 of my cars.

I play with the settings all the time, but now we need to use '0 timing' on our speed controls.

modes 2-5 are blinking modes.

anytime I activate telemetry, lights dont blink anymore.

have the latest genius AS software

I have done it right now here and if everything is ok for me should be for you to. I can guarantee you that your doing something wrong and that telemetry is possible with zero timing. It's kind a strange that a firmware released in april and after 4 updates no one notice that...

Temp cut off, as long as you have a motor with NTC, is always active, even you haven't ticked telemetry. If we are talking about the motor, because for the ESC it always work.

Has anybody had much success using an lrp x12 13.5t with this controller?

Tried it once before but just got massive motor fade and heat problems. Any suggestions apart from the "how to" on what ratio and timing to start with. Running on a tight indoor track (10m X 25m), carpet with quite a bit of grip.
