Default GM Racing Dealer in South East Asia

I would like to get some pricing and "how to order" info for a GENIUS 90 or 120 (Gen II) and other GM motors but it seems that the Thai GM dealer is not operated anymore.
I also emailed directly to Graupner in Germnay but nothing in return after nearly a week.

Any help, contact, website will be most appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,

I own the GM 13.5 pro with 1600 gauss rotor (part number 97303) and a Tekin RS Pro - could anyone tell me the maximum timing and turbo boost that I can safely add (I've read that the maximum shouldn't exceed 50 or 60 and that the motor has inbuilt 30 degrees endbell timing - is this true)?

I use this combination sometimes, yes its true, anything over 60deg seems to produces rapid heating. 30deg inbuilt into motor

Thanks - so for a fairly small track would 15 to 20 degrees timing advance and 5 degrees turbo be a good place to start?

In the small track I race on Tuesdays I use no turbo, 55deg timing, start 3xxx, end 18xxx for gentle progressive power, the car is controllable in the infield because start is low but timing ramp is gentle. FDR 7.3

I see the point you're making... but the pedant in me won't let it go.. GM does have turbo, and had it before a lot of other speedos

well technically, no speed controls do have 'turbo'

last time I saw my speed control, it had no forced air induction and compression chamber.

its just a zooper dooper name for throwing heaps of timing advance

I am still wondering what end rpm he was talking about.

I didnt know RC was big in Amsterdam

My guess from reading the preceding posts would be that he runs a GM motor on an RS/RS Pro.
