To get that info, you need to list what type of motor, esc, car, applications, gearing, where you live and what type of temperature, type of cells or pack, heatsink with or without a fan.....

Hi diozxlive... If you can't find the maximum temp for your esc, motor or battery from the manufacturers spec's. Try to list the equipment that you have and you might get some answers from the people that have already experience using them. Somebody might have a safe limit for the temperatures so the equipments will continue to perform to its capacity. Cheers

It may be bla blah blah to some, but the more information you can provide, the more detailed your answer will be.

I didn't mean it to be disrespectful or to say the information was unimportant merely didn't want to state the exact same thing again that the 4 post before me did, didn't figure it would be helpful at that point.

Stock motors can go up to 210F. At 230F they start to smell burnt and have a short life. There is no need to run them this hot unless the weather is Houston hot. Speed controls can go up to about 180 F. Brushless motors have about this same limit. The Novak brushless will thermal at 180F. They will stand more than this with a sintered armature.
