Do you think i would get away running a 12t motor with a 15t esc?

Add two teeth to tone the motor down and you just might

Personally, I wouldnt risk it. But if its a cheap speed control and/or you dont mind what the concequences could be then go for it.

As bxpitbull said, you could try taming the motor and being lucky that way.

You could try to cool the esc with a fan. Maybe it works but otherwise you could try to get a Mtroniks esc. They are reasonable priced and some models can handle 11t motors.
