Default gearing lrp 13.5

currently i am running the novak 13.5 sintered motor im running a t2 007 at 112/42 and coming off track at 140 degrees i want to run my new lrp 13.5 and i need to know if it should be geared the same i do not know if it is sintered im using the lrp touring car edition esc

I fyou aren't sure if its sintered, it probably isn't.
Gear it the same and check temp at 4 minute mark. If its too cold gear up a tooth and kind of keep checking temps and keep gearing up a tooth until you are hitting full throttle 2/3 down the stright and the temps are under 160, you shoudl be fine.

yeah im not sure it does not say on the package if it is sintered , does lrp even have sintered rotors?

Yup it won't have the sintered unless you bought it seperatly..

I would gear it slightly higher than the Novak 13.5 sintered motor since the LRP 13.5 comes with a bonded rotor right now.

Curious, why the change? What was wrong with your Novak 13.5?

just have the lrp esc wanted to match brands (yea trife i know lol)
