Hudy 110 volt Tyre Truer Motor Failure

The motor on my non bells and whistles tyre trues took a dump along with the rectifier and I can't dig info from the RC Am site.

Any body out there with substitute clue or even a 12 volt replacement motor ??

Ideas please for recovery.

Hey Jacko,

I looked for a replacement motor for a Hudy Automatic 12V truer before and the only one I found was part number 201010 (PRIMARY ELECTRIC MOTOR 12V) from Hudy. It's not cheap either (I found it for ~ $85).

Not sure how it will interface with the 110V truer.

Same thing happened to me a while back. I sent it back to RC America in Dallas TX and had it back w/in a week. Cost for replacement motor was around $45.

Just call RCA and see how they want you to ship it to them...They are very reasonable on the repairs for the truers....

OK that'll work, a little e-mail question and answer session. Sounds good, thanks.

Why'nt you do that Tommy ??
