yokemad,
Most of the time on asphalt having all of the toe in inboard helps generate more traction/steering and stability... I know it sounds kind of backwards having it do those things all at once... but the toe in on the inside acts to sort of "bind up" the rear suspension similarly to how antisquat would... this helps with forward accelleration, weight transfer, and mechanical grip.

The Reedy pack does not fit in the 008 well at all. If you install it with the humps down, it rubs against the spur gear. If you install it with the humps up, the pack becomes extremely tall.
Either way, there is some grinding + shimming needed (unless you are comfortable hanging the pack way off of the chassis).

You'll still need to shim. The pack is pretty tall compared to the Trakpower/Orion/Core batteries.

Is anyone running the MaxAmps packs in their T2 08?
If not, why?

i am thinking about buying a t2 008 eu 6 cell for my team to run at the SIR 24hour enduro coming up in october. i read that people were having issues with the belts lasting for a couple of runs. i need to know will the belts be able to survive for a full 24 hours with a 13.5 without having to be replaced?

The belts should last, but depending on track conditions (dust, rocks, etc...) they might not look to good afterwards. I would have an extra diff on hand, as well as several bearings.
