You can thank a lot of that to our dollar against the euro, losing more and more ground each day...

That's not Xray's price increase, it's the US Dollar's decrease.

Ouch...

I really can't say I'm too surprised at the price since many other high-end kits are in that same price range. Not too sure if I will get one, but if I do, price will not be a big issue.

On the original T2 , what parts in the front end (steering block, or C- hub) is it best to change to aluminum ?

Also is there anyone else beside Xray and Team Tamale making Aluminum parts for the T2 ?

Any Information would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I cant answer for everyone but of the three in our club last season we broke 7 steering blocks and 1 "c" hub. Most of the feedback I have seen on these forums says change the block and the breakeage will pretty well stop.
Of course if you dont hit anything you wont break anything. Which is why I have a heap of spares

Default Parts

I havn't tried one on yet (but I will) but the HPI pro 4's blocks are the exact same size outside as the 007/T2 I just dont know about the bearing size. Mind you the quality isn't near as good.
