It looks like the steering bellcrank is finally in the center of the car 
.
Also, the stiffening post just behind the bellcrank is interesting, and the bottom of the front bulkheads have a curious reach towards the rear of the car (for additional chassis stiffening, I suppose).

It seems like the belts are the same too. Based on these pictures I still think there won't be a special 6 cell foam version of it.
That long one piece topdeck is crazy... the diff pulley seems to be bigger than the 007's hopefully the internal ratio did not change in the wrong direction (any bigger than 1.7 would make gearing a 13.5 brushless next to impossible... ) however they have to think about the mod racers
They made nice square rear right bulkheads which may help with the lipo issue if the topdeck does not sit too low...

Anyone see the New Hudy Spring Steel Front Locker In The Car....I LIKE!
The New car looks awesome, i think you will find with the topdeck that it will split right at the back of the mounts that the centre layshaft is secured by. It looks to be about 2 screws so that looks like a good design to me.New Aluminium wheel hubs by the look of it too

Awesome! Looks great, tons of new features. I love Xray with all of there little details that go into their cars. Let's see how many classes it'll win at this year's IIC. I'm guessing 4.

Wow. Now 3 versions of the T2 will be available. 6 cell US, 6 cell EU, and 5 cell EU.
Different drive train ratios for the US and EU models
longer drive shafts for the EU model
EU model now comes with the spool (no multi-dif)
Blades have been eliminated, will be interesting to see how composite out drives hold up.
Bulk heads are moved closer to the center
Suspension arms are longer with only one shock mount position
New C hubs allow entire CVD to be inserted through opening
Anti roll bars included with EU edition
6 quick roll center positions on rear towers
Shorter shocks and towers
LiPo ready (Shocker!)
I'm pretty bummed there is no 4800 LiPo for the US edition. Looks like shimming again to make it work or maybe using the EU edition with the US top deck.
It is pretty funny to see them adopt the LiPo movement after denying it for so long because it wasn't used in "racing".

So what are we going to do with the US edition to fit the 4800 LiPo?
My initial thoughts are to use the EU chassis but that would soften things up a bit.
I'm also thinking about a thicker, milled out, US top deck to fit the 4800 under it. Maybe a BMI option? I'd buy that.

So now that XRay is taking steps to make sure LiPo's fit, can we accept that:
1) People must really like these things, and...
2) the Orion pack sizes should be adopted as the standard to give car makers something to go by with future designs. I mean, they already are, but lets make it official somehow.

Looks like just the chassis is different between the EU and the US Rubber Editions. The EU is 5-cell and the US is 6-cell, that I read. The EU & US R comes with the composite solid axle and the 38T pulleys and 20T pulley on the layshaft for a 2.375 drive ratio. They also have the same 52mm CVD's.
