ok quick question on the 008 are the shocks longer on the eu than they are on the us edition and are the black springs from xray only for the longer shocks?

So, i have finaly been running my T2008 EU version... 2 Days of "testing" and i must say, it is fun, it is a LOT diff from 4wd buggy that i use to run outdoors..

Maybe i dont fit, o only HAVE to practice to use a diffrent driving style..Spool...trottle,Brake,trottle,brake and so on, to get it quick arount the track..im not pleased with it 100%

Since we getting higher spped, and must brake before entering a corner, the Spool is good.

Oneway aint so good, the car will spin ?

Regular Diff in the front how will that affect on the car?

i mean,my first run with the 4wd buggy (1:10 el) was with a Oneway, and it didnt fell good at all, changed to Diff, and thats my style!!

Can it be used on touring car like my 008 (modified- 4.5 orion and 5 cells)

Thomas

The shocks are the same on EU and US. The black springs and colored fit the 008 shocks.

since you are running mod with rubber tires you will almost never run a oneway the spool is the way to go. running a diff in the front will make it easier to drive in other words it will make your car push bad middle out of the corner when running mod hope this helps.

Anyone have any thoughts on running the foam (3.5mm) chassis and top deck with rubber tires on carpet? I've got a US car I want to make some use of.

Can I make work or will it be a turd?

Jim, I did that, and was pretty happy. But, I've never seen a 008EU in action, so I don't know that it was competitive.

Thanks Adam, I'll give it a try but it's pretty rigid. I'll pull the standoffs and take out as many screws as I can without it falling apart I guess.

Yeah that's correct I found that out last night while I was practicing at nexus. My issue is my cyclone belt length is rated in number of teeth and the xray is by length in mm. I got the front belt to work on the car fine but am wondering if it has enough teeth for me to run my 18t center pulley and if I can use the rear belt or not....just need the number of teeth

Game Over,
The last missing piece to make the XRAY T2 008 the dominate car on the asphalt. Now the front wheel shattering under power with the spool can be eliminated. Of course the LOSI guys are going to complain that they had it first and XRAY copied. XRAY just made it better.

To make this work, you have to use the new type C-hubs with the wider opening.
