2008 onroads worlds
 

Does anyone know where the 2008 onroads worlds is going to be held.

Japan I think... or somewhere in Asia.

I heard last week, from someone who should know, there has no final decision been made! It's going to be in Asia or Australia and my source mentioned that there is still 4 candidates (Australia, Malaysia, 2x Thailand).
Very likely the final decision of whom will get the OnRoad Worlds 2008 will be made in September in Japan during the OffRoad Worlds.

What track in Australia?

If its in Australia my tip would be Brendale in Queensland, if so it will be a shame.

I have also heard in Australia that the worlds may be at RCS in Bangkok Thailand. Its a great venue, and would be an awesome place to hold a worlds.

I also understand that the track in Trung Thailand is also being considered, i was lucky enough to race there at the 2006 Reedy race, and it is by far the best track i have ever raced on, with amazing local support, and a very friendly local population, though i would say the remoteness of Trung may be against its chances, but if there i would book my ticket tonight.

Reto......When Hara was at the Hot Rod Shootout he told me that it was announced that it would be at RSC in Bankok.....so that is my source and Usually if it comes from Hara it would be pretty accurate.
