Default How can I take of the tire off of my wheels?

I need to take of my tires cause they are worn, can I still use my old inserts and wheels? If so, I heard of Acetone, boiling, and baking. Which one works the best for onroad tires?

Default tires

I ran outdoor road racing for a while. I have always boiled my tires off the rims. It worked well for me.

Be carefull if you use acetone...it will melt the rims if they are plastic..! Boiling or freezing works just take your time

Default Anyone ever READ the other posts?

Guys;

I find it very annoying that there are 6 threads on this very subject just on the current page alone. Doesn't anyone ever READ some of the other posts, or am I the ONLY one?

boiling works but i use a blade cutter to clean up any leftover rubber on the rim. it also helps in separating the tire from the rim.
