I bought a HPI Sprint a while back and I need a new ESC and motor for it. I do not want to go brushless and only want to spend around 100 bucks. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get.

I am also thinking on getting another electric on-road but what kind should I get. I want to buy a kit and then put a brushless system in it. What kit should I buy before I buy the brushless system.

Go to your LHS and ask what they run for esc's and cars themselves. That way you can get spares locally instead of waiting for Hong Kong to ship stuff. Just my 2 cents.

Score a used ESC off of the boards here, and grab a 19 turn or something like that.
