Default Battery Pack wont take a charge

I have three sets off batteries. Two are trinity that i bought a few years back. Have not charged them in a while. One pack will charge, the other will not register on my charger.

I have the same problem with my trinity nitro pack. Been sitting, when i connect it the charger will not givve me the ready light to beging charging.

Are these packs shot, they only have one season of racing on them.

How can i fix this??

If they have been sitting long enough they are toast. They most likely have self discharged to the point that they are useless.

your charger will probably false peak for the first few cycles.

so just press recharge a few times. you know the battery is full when its mildy warm.

if you got a good charger then just set the peak lockout to 15minutes.

i cant even get them to begin to charge. When i batteries get hooked up to my charger, it gives a red flashing light to show they are ready to start charging. I cant even get that

try using a different charger, wall chargers works perfectly on this particular case, after putting in charge and finally your regular charger identifies the batteries,,, cycle them a few times and that should wake them up.

Good advise. Different charger or if yours has a timed charge on it, use it. dead batteries often restart that way.

Check voltage of every cell of your pack. If any cell has lower 0,9V then ..... forget it. Replace it and you are ready

like he said a couple of posts before, just pump some juice into it with a power supply. set it to a voltage of n x 1.5 (where in is the number of cells) as Ni-mh's peak at 1.5 volts.
