I won't buy the roadster but am anxiously awaiting the release of their sedan. I will buy one.

If I could afford a $100,000+ car I might consider it.

GMC is also working on one, supposed to be realeased in 2009...the Telsa Roadster will be down in price, through...within a few yrs it'll be around the 30K range, especially with competition from GMC...

8 months ago I almost put in a reserve bid on one...they were going for $35,000:sneaky: Now I'm really regretting my indeciveness:cry: I saw a report on TV about one of those MTV or movie awards, and they reported at least 4 celebrities driving them to the shows...

I can already see Jeremy Clarkson slamming it with comments about no vroom of the engine and that it cant reach astronomical 150+ speeds. But well, we all know Clarkson is stuck in the past.

General Motors already had an electric vehicle YEARS ago (EV1).. Was put into production... then General Motors KILLED them all, literally!!!... As did TOYOTA (was basically an Electric Rav4) and HONDA.

Ever hear of a documentary called WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR?. Check it out..

Yeah, rather depressing..

The name is Tesla, not Telsa. Named after Nicolai Tesla who invented the AC motor. Read the wikipedia info on Tesla, interesting reading.

It's a shame that the roadster is not as good as they say it is. Anyway it's still a nice looking car that is full of good ideas, and it is pretty good. What was the name of the other car it reminds me of,,, Tucker wasn't it?
