Serpent used to do one. RWD, belt-drive rear transmission from spur to pinion. And wide too, over 200mm. And rather rare.

there was the old yokomo yrf2 front wheel drive, and tamiya did a front wheel drive back when touring cars were in their infancy.

I knew somebody put some rwd tc in 540 race which made by their handmade chassis, had convert from 4wd to 2wd, I just forget the details about the cars. So the race result are not very good, they withdrawed the project, due the lack of traction and handling problems, some kind of them.

A good few years back Associated had the only RWD kit available, the RC10DS or Dual Sport.
Was a handful to drive and very challenging.
Tried to find a decent pic but not much on teh net.

just find a cheap touring car ( i have an rdx for sale ) take the front bulkheads (which locate the lower pivots / arms) shock tower, arms, camber links, etc and drill and countersink your pan car chassis for the bulkhead bolt pattern and wala... touring car front end on a pan car

sounds kinda sweet actually

Go ask over in the pan car thread on the oval/large scale forum... there's a front end that they use for the velodrome cars that fits your need...

What about the Tamiya Mini or Tamiya Suzuki Swift. I thought the chassis on those were 2wd.

Tamiya is only brand I can think of that still makes a 2wd that is not a pan car.
