I really doubt the guys would buy that as legal. Shane caught hell for his 2 door Impreza.

really guys its just about the realness of the thing!!!! try the caddy, I say yes! its the DNA protowhat the %$& type of car is that type stuff, we didnt want from the begining. I say if its running in GT real races, run on at the summit...... I personaly have no problems compeating against them with the C6R.

I agree with you Seth, the realness factor is what is keeping GT afloat and should continue. I think the Caddy would be like trying to fly a boxcar, but it's real.

I just don't want everyone out there in C6s trying to be competitive instead of the Stratus like in TC. If that is the case then we're just doing the same boring thing with a different body. Last season there were SEVERAL Corvettes and even more CLKs. That's the start of a problem...

HPI has a much better 200mm GT selection... Run some offset wheels...

You and Brad made the CLKs look good, so everyone had one towards the end. I should just run that BMW sta-wag thing I ran 2 years ago. I'll try the Caddy. I have a Saleen S7R in the closet. It just didn't look as good in person.

Maybe I'll get the CLK mini body...

This is a lx-250 of Alex Racing Design, this is a nice body, as I know this is a 4 door, because in JMRCA are only allowance of 4 door TC bodies to race. Even it's released, the people prefer more the Accords or Speed6 than this one, maybe due the price and popularity.

Yeah thanks Mac, we know what body it is. We're just trying to find something to run that has some aerodynamic benefit and still fits into Summit's rules...

Ben, YGPM on Hobbytalk...

Wait a minute, I am just concentrated since Sportpak's idea of "2 door bodies", so I don't know anything about the Summit's regs, that is why I always try help him about choosing the better body without thinking 4 doors ones, I am sure this lx-250 probably will be awesome for the serious race at least at the JMRCA expert race has proven it. I have using the yokomo's g350gt, I could tell you it's good on aerodynamic but 4 door.

Didn't mean to offend you Mac. I was just telling you what we were trying to do. Summit's regulations are any 2-door, production-based, 190 or 200mm TC body. The regs are designed to eliminate everyone running the Mazda 6, the Stratus, or the Alfa bodies. It gets kind of old watching everyone out there in the same shell. With that being said, now for the most part everyone either runs the Protoform Corvette, or the HPI CLK-GTR. Sportpak was just asking RC Tech if anyone knew of aerodynamically good, non-traditional bodies...
