As Jason said you want the tie rods straight or a little foward but shouldn't be so far foward that they are hitting the upper hinge pin. If they are then either your servo is too far foward or you are running the ball studs on the front of the servo saver instead of on the back. There are 4 holes in the chassis where the servo mounts, 2 on each side of the servo. There are also 2 holes on the bottom of each servo mount. This gives 4 combinations of how far foward or back the servo can be mounted. Different servos have different heights so your servo may not fit right in the exact holes the instructions say. Move your servo back until the tie rods are as straight as possible. The furthest back would be the 2 back holes on the chassis and the 2 foward holes on the servo mounts. That should move the tie rods far enough away from the upper hinge pin so that they don't hit except at extreme steering which you shouldn't be using that much anyway.
Explain where these are

If you look at step 12 of the on-line manual you will see 2 sets of servo mounting holes. Step 25 further explains these.

I have to check that out but....can you see these from the bottom of the chassis?

I get it now, you were trying to say that there are 4 holes on one side of the SERVO MOUNTS & 2 holes on the other side
Plus the 4 holes on the bottom of the chassis for the servo mounts.

Well you get the idea...2 holes on the bottom of each servo mount and the 4 holes in the chassis...I didn't really address the holes that the servo itself mounts to...just where the mounts bolt to the chassis.

I have a question about the shock oil being used. What is the reason for the heavier weight oil (35wt) used in this car compared to a 12l4 maybe 20 to 25 wt)?

Hey CarlosG,

Because the car has a lot of grip at my track, I use heavier oil to carry more corner speed.

Couple of new things I'm playing around with on my DB12R If all goes well I'll get to test them at this weekend's race

The other reason is that the car does not use a T-plate for front to rear suspension thus requiring heavier oil to help hold the car up.

I'll bet that you'll really like the way the CRC frontend feels gadgt. I like it alot, just check the kingpin every couple of runs. It has a tendency to work loose every so often.

Well personally I don't like pillow ball type suspensions...and there some other minor design issues I have with it on principal. But even with the upper arm still a hair tight the suspension feels super smooth and dead level from what I can tell initially. I'm still waiting for bearings to check the ride height left to right.
