No,the first run of cars went with non flanged bearings. I wasnt aware of the Prism wheels using flanged until i got them in. Being that i am offering the Prism's with the car, i had to change the kits to flanged bearings. I had to eat hundreds of bearings everything else is identicle.

Not really, she could go work for any RC company and double her salary!!!!! She remembers everything about all my orders...

Oh oh.... Mental note.. Don't EVER let her talk to my wife cuz the first thing the lovely Donna would ask is about what I ordered and how much everything was....

Now wait a minute... I didn't complain about that... I was in shock that it was the only thing that broke.... I'll have to add that to my next order....

That's all we run in Europe. We use grey rear/purple front in low grip, and grey rear/magenta front in high grip. If you prefer, use pink rear/purple front, and in exceptionally high grip pink rear/magenta front.

The other thing to try is 5deg blocks - this is the setting the majority use here on Jack. It reduces the tendency for the car to 'grab' off-power when using Jack. HTH

Adrian are you bringing both the 1/12th and 1/10th cars to the state race this weekend?

Thumbs up

Jason,

Ran the car on Tuesday night after Sunday’s race when I ran the FF’07 DB12R not ready.
This was done after the carpet had aired for 2 days and was the same layout.

Only had two runs using same motor (unskimmed) & tyre type and,

Single lap faster by 1.17s
Average lap down by 1.057s

Unbelievable the way the car corners with speed.

Only place I seemed to struggle was in the switch backs (left/right/left) were the car was to responsive. Maybe addy & or servo KO949. (Usually run a Sanwa 141)

Tried the olive spring to gain a bit more rear end.
Car seemed to be skipping a lot under power on the rear.

Body: Hot Bodies Ferrari (used as I like it and didn’t have a Parma ready)
Tire Compounds: BRM Purple/Grey = f 44mm r52mm
CS High Grip Tyre Additive : Full front & Rear (like to do full front to help keep tyre wear even)
Reactive Caster: 10* Block
Caster: Middle
Camber: set to run foams square
Ride Height: 3.5mm
Toe: zero
Front Track: no shims on axles
Front Spring: .020”
Front Preload/Droop: No Preload/very little
King Pin Damping: none (don’t like to do it)
Servo Mounting: Angled
Shock Length/Pod Droop: 2.6” (66mm)/.060 (1.5mm)
Shock Angle: Med IRS ball stud on AE Ant-Shock mount
Shock Spring: AE gold / AE Olive
Shock Oil: 35wt
Side Damper Oil: 100wt shock oil (no heavier oils)
Flex Plates: .070”
Flex plate preload screws: Not installed
Rear Body Mounts: To the rear
Rear Track: 172mm

Jason's been back to me and I need to try thicker lube in damper tubes. Going to use corally medium damper fluid as suggested by Jason.

see attachment
top heat = drivers best heat that made the A final & won the event
DB12R = 2nd run with car
heat 4 = best run with FF'07

Bill, that would mean he is racing.... So I doubt it . Then again, Adrain was the guy that drove 4 hours to deliver tires for a state race......

Jason or Adrian,
does having the flex plate screw affect the flex of the plate or does it only have an affect if its touching the cahssis?
Thanks,
E
