I really liked my car from the main through Sunday practice. I tried so many changes and different combo's that I sometimes felt like I was in the twilight zone.

The track was very bumpy for 12th scales and we were running Jack so it took a little time for the grip to come up. I went there with last seasons batteries which I had tested a couple of days before the race and I only had 4 packs that were between 360 - 380 sec/35A, everything else was lower.

Mr. Power Push Carruba was a real gentleman and loaned me some of his practice packs to run with, but in all honesty I simply wasn't focused on gearing or trying to make time. Regardless, I want to offer my sincere thanks to Tony and Vicky for all of their generosity.

I went to this race because I viewed it as an F1 pre-season test date and I am extremely glad that I went. Wayne Gerber Jr., Rob King, Mike Blackstock and "Goop" were all extremely helpful, thanks guys, I really appreciated it and definitely needed it.

Mike Blackstock thought the car looked good by the main but needed some more adjustment to make it easier to drive. I stayed until 1 am asking him questions and testing stuff to get closer to this goal.

In the end I actually wound up running the setup that Adrian M posted for carpet. Man, I just knew I was never going to live that one down.
Again, thanks everyone for your help. I'm just trying to learn and get better.

Is there a foam bumper that fits this car?

Or do I have to hack one up?

I orderd the Parma bumpter for mine, but i was told the DB12 posts in the front where alittle wide. So I may be looking for another bumper to. I have to have everything perfect on my rig!

(Also the Base Setup on the site still does not work, just wanted to throw that out)

Kimbrough diff cover. You have to use a spur gear with a ring (Kimbrough, PRS) to snap those on.

Diff Covers

That setup works extremely well. In 19 turn on carpet we went to .018 front springs when the bite came up. Other than that the setup was the same. It worked excellent

Cars almost ready to go. Just waiting on the transponders to get back from MRT. A track to run at would be nice too. Going to have to miss next week at the track that runs every other week and the track that runs every week is still running off road outdoors

I use the Slapmaster one and it is fine. It just is a little small, so you need to slice a 2mm long slice in it so the foam will give and extend for the body posts.
