this may be a dumb question... but your guys tire suggestions have me confused..

you guys say lilac /yellow for stock and for mod run even softer tires ?

wouldnt it be the other way around ?

Obviously not.... but why not?

Dont get hung up on the tires shore rating (hardness). A yellow rear tire is softer than a double pink but the yellow foam has much less traction as it has more synthetic rubber and less natural rubber in it.

In Stock you have very limited horsepower. Stock is all about making your car as free in the corners as possible. Just enough traction to get around but not enough that your car is bound up and bogging your motor.

If you ran Lilac and Yellows in 19T or Mod your car would push into the corners and you could light up your rear tires exiting the corners. For these motors you need more grip and thats what double pinks will give you. More steering for the higher speeds and more forward grip in the rear so you can get on it and accellerate hard.

If you ran double pinks in stock your car would be too stuck and inefficient. It would be really easy to drive but it would be slow.

The best way is emailing bmachine@tampabay.rr.com. Place the order and ask us to call you for the CC#. We will call you, confirm the order and setup the shipping method you want.

or..

You can call us at 352-544-0463

FYI, we are not open on the weekends

In ~2 weeks we will have the on line store done. Then it will be super easy.... just click and buy.

So whats the best body to get for Stock and 19 turn then? Speed 8? Speed 12? Speed 12b?

Also, what do you guys run for RX packs in your 12ths? I dont have a lipo charger, so may have to go the Nimh route..

That was discussed earlier Trying to hunt down one 8HD myself.. I've tried just the Parma Zytec so far, can anyone tell how it's compared to the ones bellow? I really can't compare them, I just didn't like the looks of Zytec, it looks like a toy with that driver figure

Parma Speed 8* - Best for stock and 19 turn, low drag and medium downforce, very stable
Parma Speed 8 HD* - Best for mod, high downforce and medium drag, very stable and planted
Protoform Speed 12* - Best for mod, medium stability, high downforce and a little less drag than Speed 8 HD
Protoform Speed 12b* - Best for stock and 19 turn, Medium stability, good downforce and very low drag.
*Light wieght version uses thinner lexan.

Hey guys, one thing is still not clear to me about the new Jaco prism's - are the compounds the same? If I already have the "old" Jaco's double pinks, should I order double pink Prism's, will that make any difference? As I understand, prism's have a new design, bigger wheel diameter and some additional compounds, so the old compounds are pretty much the same tire... Right?
