Just get a better double sided tape I've had no problem with electronics falling off.

+1

I use PARMA's pro servo tape. It has great adhesion and when its time to pull it off it comes off in one or two pieces and doesn't disintegrate like other brands/types.

Try Target or Walmart for the clear servo tape. If I'm not mistaken it's the same as Parma's.

Any chance of getting slightly more width out of the front end with the new chassis upgrade?

Maybe something closer to the crc width?

Not sure, it's been a while since I've needed to buy any, I'm not sure what on the package or even if it came in a package...

This:

http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...8044/137.0.1.1

The same as this?:

http://loctiteproducts.com/products/...D=45&SubID=185

Looks the same...if so it didn't hold well enough on my DB10R with the electronics in the rear of the car...just too little material there for my small electronics to hold onto. Larger electronics wouldn't have the same problem. I ended up using Shoe Goo.

The Parma stuff has a '3M VHB' label on it. it is nice for more permanent attachments and it comes off clean (in one piece) it is a clear urethane looking tape (not foam)

the indoor/outdoor 2sided tape they sell at home depot also comes off in one piece, but it doesn't hold on as well, but its cheap. its a grey colored foam.

I cut a lexan tray to fit in the rear, then mounted electronics to that.

I use this tape.

Jason, I need a new foam bumper. Neither you or Stormer seem to have them. Any idea when they'll be back in stock?

I do have 1/12th foam bumpers in stock. My website inventory must be screwed up. I will fix it up today.

As for the new car, i am shooting for a release in 2-3 weeks. The parts are being run off now. I need to revamp the instruction manual and box labels and we should be good to go.
