Ah OK, thanks. Will order them then.
Beside centering do the CK flexplates feel different regarding turn in or when running on bumpy tracks?

Running the new thin plates in the long position as stated above, do this compare more to the long or short position on the old (thick) flexplates?
I see there are also some thicker flexplates coming. For what purpose are these made, just for the 1/10th car?

Im not sure if I will be running my DB12RR this winter, I think my main interest currently is the DB10R. Which one of the new flexplates makes more sense for this car, the thin or the thick one or maybe both? I had my first indoor race with the DB10R last weekend and I liked the short position with the standard thick flexplates the best. The car worked very very good.

there are 6 stiffness steps with 2 bars and 3 mounting options each. the short position stiffens the rear suspension, and adding the tweak screws is another step stiffer.

this forum is the onling tuning guide.

this forum is the onling tuning guide.
To be more specific:

Thin flex plates
- Long position, short position, long position with tweak screws, and short position with tweak screws.

Thick flex plates
- Long position, short position, long position with tweak screws, and short position with tweak screws.

Weve just finished our on-road National here in Australia and 2 BMI made A-main.
We got 4th and 9th place. My DB12RR felt great but got into heated battle with others and I pushed it bit too hard in early stage of finals and battery dumped in the end.

Ill try new carbon flex plate for next big meet. Is thin carbon flex plate stiffer than fibre glass thin flex plate?

I'm taking the plunge into the Brushless world and looking at getting the Tekin RS ESC and just wondering about a few things.

1. Whats a good length is for the Sensor Wire. Its for the DB12RR. I'll probably be buying an aftermarket wire harness but there are lots of different lengths.

2. Are there any Lipos that don't fit into the chassis slots for the lipo version DB12RR? Any reccommended Lipos?

Jonesy, i recommend the SMC 4900mah 1s. PM me if you need one, and the sensor wire would be about a 6" wire. I think i have a spare if you want to try it first.

I found a rare blue ano 12r online, im going to convert to a RR, but obviously i think that rear bar across the pod will be a different length.... Ill maybe shim it with blue shims! Anyone know if its the same length as the R version? Cheers

AJ the 1/12RR measures 6cm, and that on the original 1/10 is about 5.75cm which I assume is the same as on the 1/12R.
