(the front tire wearing faster on the outside)

in 1/8 scale, camber is usually adjusted to maintain even wear across the front tire, but i am almost maxed out on camber at 1.5 degrees already.

i would like to try less camber for more control on turn in, and solve the tire wear in some other way.
AVS - You may look at your Toe & Caster settings. A lot of Caster with Toe-In would likely wear the outside edge. If you like the balance and handling, a more frequent visit to the tire truer with a ride-height adjustment might be better than going away from a comfortable setup.

I just picked up a used 12rr and I don't have an allen wrench small enough for the tweak screws. What size are those puppies?

Thanks, Lee B.

agreed, i am comfortable with the setup but am trying to get faster, which i think means less tire scrub and speed loss on turn-in. (13.5 1s)

i have been using 5 or 10degree blocks with 4 degrees caster and a mininum toe out. i will try 10, 6 and retrue the tires next.

Does anyone run the RR in Mod on carpet?

I've put some good time into the setup and have found one that is working pretty good, but it could still be better. Anyone with a mod setup they care to share?

You can check some of my setups in rc-setups.com, they are for RR although it states that it's the old R version. But really copying a setup won't get you the desired result, conditions may vary, you just need a good starting point and then adjust little by little depending from the conditions.

P.S.: I also have never got the car working 100% with mod, but if the new flexplates will really have the effect that Jason promised, it should cure some problems.

Jason any update on when the CF flex plates will be available? I see the other CF stuff as in stock now and I am ready to order, but want to get a couple sets of the new flex plates in the same order if possible.

"The new flex plates are done and have replaced the G10 plates. If you order the ones on the website, they will be the carbon fiber plates."

I ordered mine yesterday
