Default Lipo

Using a 1C Lipo in the 12RR, are people using a Manutech Lipo weight along with the battery to add weight?

What are people preference, booster or RX pack when using a 1C Lipo?

Thanks

You don't have to use the weight since roar lowered the weight down to the 730's. My car weigh's 710 grams w/ SMC 4000 pack, TQ Cells Booster and a Tekin Speedo. No added weight. The new 5000 packs weight 20 grams more.

Between 70mm and 80mm rollout.

tire size in (mm)x 3.14 divided by spur/pinion = rollout

x2

My car was 6gm under weight with the SMC 4000 pack, but now with the new SMC C-Max pack even after shortening excess wires and doing some weight savings, the car rings in at 743, so I have some weight reduction to do on the car still to get it back into spec with these heavier cells.

I doubt that will be enough, if memory serves I remember reading in the 1/12 thread that some guys that were running 17.5/lipo were rolling out in the low 100's awhile back. That may have changed but I'm running 13.5/lipo and rolling out in the high 80's. That rollout is just on par with a 17.5/nimh on a very small carpet track.

so you think the rollout changes 20-30mm for asphalt. Are you running a speedy like the spx or tekin with 199/200 where the esc kicks in another gear on straights?
