The 8-32 screws in the front end were bent.
My car is not spinning out, the rear tires are spinning when I get on the gas. Like when going threw a switch back I can hear the inside rear tire pick up and spin. The side bite is the same the whole run and really nice, just lacking forward traction.
I have a set of pink rear to try so those are gona be next. Will go from there. Just hate to goto yellow cause of how easy they chunk.

My car is RTW, Ready To Win, , ended up mounting.
The only mistake is for the rear shok length, for a 1mm droop i have to go from 76 mm (3.0"), +10 mm as the manual.
Finally in front, i put 3 shims up, for a 0.25mm front droop, i think with 2 is sufficient, but the low spring mount is very near to the tyre, and is proud to touch.
I like very much, the servo mount, the rear motor pods, and the rear diff, axle.
I put 10000wt diff grease, in tubes, and 35wt copper spring in the shock, have good feeling, but i need to test in track.
I run in mod, i go to test, with 5.5T nosram motor, and ISTC speed control, with 4 cell, the Gen-X with this configuration, run very well, i think this car handled well the power.
Greetings, Luis C.

Jason, any chance of seeing an updated manual for both DB12RR and DB10RR? I am not complaining as I know the car from A to Z, but for starters it really might be a bit frustrating

I am interested in using one unit.
Do you know someone who use it?
Regards,
P.D. The same for you, friend Luic.

So I got my RR-LiPo all setup, lots of weight saving stuff done other than replacing all steel screws with Alloy... I didnt do that due to fragility concerns.
Total weight ready to race with some nearly full size tires, and new body on came to 724gm. Some pics later, but there isnt much weight savings left on the car. I may replace a few screws with an Alloy or Ti, but not much because that few gm of savings isnt worth it. Thats with a relatively heavy Orion Version 2 Vortex 10.5T, fairly heavy Novak GTB 4 cell w/ large cap, and a large Airtronics Rx and a voltage booster.

My car is a lighter heavy, is 875g, with full size tyres, receiver pack, ISTC with full heatsink, and 4 cells, but the cells are 290g (10.22 oz) , bodyshell include, as the weight of Lipo? , 100-150g ?
Ysyracing, if refer to this:
http://www.nosram.com/en/products/ne...c-74v/details/
Is a sandled pack, divide it and have 2 3.7v batteries, for dimensions are more small, 69x47x23.5mm.
Greetings, Luis C.

Those lipo packs look awsome but...you cant use them. There 2cell 2400 each. 1/12th use 1 cell.

Wrong, those are 2x3.7v packs in series, meaning that splitting the pack you will get two 4800 single cell packs. I guess it works if your club doesn't have any reguations, you won't be able to drive with those packs in ROAR events for sure.

I think, PartTime is right, i don´t konw sure, but i compare with others brands saddle Lipo packs, 2S2P, and are the same height and weight.

The DB12RR lipo was a lot of fun to build. I took my time and cleaned all the exposed edges. I also thought I would put a picture up of how the Fantom Lipo fits.

Very nice work Khador12, mine is 4 cell chassis, i have done recently and i have to mount all the electronics and only can me solder wires in motor.
I put a fast ball end in front the shock, with this metod i change or put fast the batteries in a race, is very apreciated, when you head is coming and the battery is just to charge. i respect the total height from original ball.
But i don´t have time to test this week, possible next weekend.
