I ran my double R for the second time last night, even better than the first. One word to describe it might be smooooth. Another (better) racer took it for a few laps and suggested a softer shock spring, so I'm looking forward to trying that next week. Thanks for a great car Jason.

Even while I posted back that I busted some stuff... the car is just flat out fantastic. It is SO fast and stable that its pretty unexpected the pace increase I saw. Its easily .5 to a full second improvement over my old T bar car. I went form lagging the leader(s) by 5 or 6 laps in a 8 min main. To helping set the pace and being less than a lap off the real fast guy(s) at the track.

Great showing for BMI yesterday at our monthly Sunday race. TQ and 2nd qualifiers and winner were BMI.

Question- My car was a missile all day but when the bite came up real high in the 3rd round, my inside front tire started lifting a little, and caused a traction roll once. What should I do to prevent this without taking away too much steering? For the main I just used a little less compound on the front tires which worked, but made it push a little.

50 wt. seems to run similar to 35. Its maybe just a tick lighter to be honest.

Try bumping up your spring rate on your center shock. What was your setup?

Here's the setup from Sunday:

DB12R (not rr)

Novak 13.5 71mm rollout
Track was open 90x48 med/high bite carpet
Front:
Spring- AE .020
2000 on kingpins
10* block shims back
3.75mm ride height
black jaco tires 1.69" 1/2 compound Paragon
flat servo
0* toe

Rear:
standard flex plates (DB12R)
7000 tubes
Center shock- red spring, 40wt
jaco gray 1.75 full paragon
4mm ride height
2.5mm pod droop
batteries middle

Parma Speed 8 lightweight body

I was thinking the pod droop might be the problem but it was also lifting the front tire off power. My first thought was to go up in the damper tubes but anytime I've tried 10,000 it was slower than with 7000. Another racer dropped to 5000 and was very pleased.

Here's a link to the full results:

Jeff, Kevin, and myself (Troy) were all running BMI in Super Stock.

Troy, I cut my blacks down a little smaller than out of the box, and glued the sidewall a little, that helped ALOT for the traction roll... Have to measure them to see how big....

Just got my OD wire and roll over antennas in today. Thanks OD! This wire looks and feels awesome! Not too thick of insulation and very flexible. Now all I need is the CRC sensor wire harness I ordered to come in and I can finish my car for this weekend's race
