So in what case would you need gearing that high? 21.5 w/ a 1cell LiPo?

I would guess that we'll actually start heading back the other way (a bit) on gearing with the 1S LiPo.

That said, I'm now holding some of the new BMI gearz in my hot little hands (three full sets, actually) and they are NICE!! Pics don't do 'em justice.

So I am building my RR conversion kit and I have a few questions - which mounting holes do you normally use for antenna post? I mounted it first just as it was on the old chassis (#2+#3 from the front) and the shock is way too short. Or do I change the length of shock and if so, how long does it have to be?

We are running the forward shock/ant. post mount in the same relative position as on the old chassis with the shock longer. You may need longer ball cups for the shock. Set the length so you have about .5mm of pod droop, i.e so that with a straight edge on the bottom of the chassis the hinge point between the rear pod and main chassis is ~.5mm off the straight edge.

I put mine 1 hole foward of the rear most hole and was able to run the Silva shock with full length rod ends and adjust droop from there.

All pinions are nickel Teflon coated for maximum wear resistance and smooth mesh
That looks crazy! Nothing from 40 to 45 teeth?

J-BRO!!

I just looked a bit at the conversion chassis...THANK YOU FOR THE SLOTTED SERVO MOUNT HOLES!! Unfortunately I've already changed over to Futaba 4650's from my JR3650's, but now you should be able to run pretty much any darn servo you want to!!
