Hi Jason

With the RR, is the shock lenght still the same as the R at 2.6" (66mm) to give 1.5mm pod droop?

On a side note, you reply to everyone who asks you a question, and in addition give informed and comprehensive replies to emails as well, amazing! Great service

Thanks buddy. I try my best.

The shock length is the same if you use the far rearward hole. I am running my shock longer now and moved the mount 1 hole forward. I will measure my overall shock length for you and post it here.

I currently run a 3+ year old 12L3 conversion, and am looking to get something Brushless ready and more Lipo compatible than my T bar car. But I dig Tbar car feel and handling around corners so this seems like the perfect car.

One quick question - the shock shown in the pic above, does that come with the kit? I know its a fancy bladdered shock thats better than the VCS shocks that come with other cars... just wanted to check if the one in that pic is the real deal?

Also on your site you mention that you dont run the 12L4 graphite cross bar linking the two sides of the front suspension, any reason why not? Arent you more likely to delaminate the chassis in a side impact without that?

Excellent and unique looking car!

Thanks for the compliments buddy.

The shock in the picture is the Silva Concepts shock. It is an optional shock that we offer for the car. It is a little too pricey at the time to include it in the kit. The kit shock is the IRS nickle teflon shock which is also an excellent shock but it is not a bladder shock.

We do not run the cross brace in most conditions. In real high bite you can and it will help stiffen the front end of the car. You wont run into any delamination problems without it though.

Jason, you lil genius, stop coming up with all of this go fast stuff for a few days dude, you need a vacation!!

Why don't you and the Mrs. come on up to the icy Chicagoland area and we'll put you and Kiera up for a few days. Then you could get 2-3 days of 8-12 hours of pure indoor carpet track time with some mod horsepower.

Yeah, you could write it off as a business expense...tell Uncle Sam that you were prospecting some new accounts....yeah, yeah that's the ticket.

I dont know if she would go for it. She likes watching the racing for 1-2 heats and then wants to split.
