If you manage to break the aluminum pod plates running 13.5 and 3.7 volt LiPo. I'll be impressed. I'll also wana know how you made the car so damn fast.

Well it isn't an issue of breaking the aluminum pod plates...it is to get a little more tire wear out of the car.

Even though our costs have increased, I will be holding the price the same. There will be no increase in price. The new car will be called the DB12RR. Thanks for your ongoing support. I couldnt have gone this far without you guys.

Thanks again,
Jason

I hope to get it on the track soon. Had to drop out of RC for a few months due to financial constraints.

As Jason outlined here the new kit does come with the new lowered pod plates.

The DB12R will work excellent for you buddy. The update kit is just a refined version of an already solid platform that you have.

The upgrade kit for the 12R to update it to the 12RR comes with the chassis, lower pod plate, upper pod plate, offset diff hub, pod brace,1 pc crossbrace, new flex plates and damper tube pistons. This will give you all of the updates.

The new flex plate part numbers are DB3010R for the standard and DB3015R for the thin.

The DB12RR car kit does come with the new super low pods. The conversion kit does not.

Jason I really think you have got a great car going here. I think that with the new "word of mouth" buzz that will spread about the revisions to the already great platform and the exposure on Red RC you will sure see great growth in your sales. So, congrats ahead of time.

All you gotta do now is get that manual as dialed as the kit. We got a Ferrari level kit and a Daewoo level manual!

Kidding Bro. But some part numbers with the step by step guide would be killer!

I thought they were shorter than the original ones.

The damper tube pistons are shorter and the mounting holes for the damper tubes were moved apart on the top plate to allow the shock ball stud to mount between them.

I thought the manual was a piece of cake to follow, but it's also great to open the PDF version on your computer so you can blow up the colour pictures. Heck by the end I even knew which screws were the 1/2 inch and which were the 3/4

I notice most people mount their speedo on the left side of the chassis. I assume this is to offset the servo weight but I couldnt get my wires to OCD spec on that side so have the speedo (GTB 4 cell) on the same side as the servo and micro rx/power cap on the left & will stick some lead under them. Does anyone do this or does it make the car too heavy?
