stock class(27t)

Thanks for input
Just a couple of guidelines to try. If the carpet is not smooth, get the ride height up a little more than normal. This will keep the chassis from dragging on the irregular surface. No groove, then try to maximize your traction without causing excessive drag. Just things to keep in mind when at the track.

Schreff - hopefully you will make it out to the ROAR Region 1 Carpet Regionals at 360.

2mm is only 6 ten thousandths (.0006") larger than 5/64. You shouldn't have a problem unless you constantly use the driver at an angle when a Jaco wheel is still attached.

Yep, I bet if you measured a 2mm tip its the same as a 5/64 tip.

Has anyone fitted the 7.4v lipo to their BMIs? I know the US looks like its heading the single cell lipo route but here in Oz with basically nothing but asphalt tracks 12th isn't really seen as an entry level class so there isn't as much of a movement to slow them down and there is a bit of support for the 2 cell/17.5 route

I posted some pics of my car with a 2cell a few pages back.

I am looking to switch from my AE 12R5 to the DB12R. I am curious however, I love the front suspension of the S120, does anyone know if the Serpent front end will fit on the BMI?

Also, Jason, if I order from your online store, does the kit come with the latest offerings?

I haven't seen one first hand but from the pics it looks like the screws are smaller and wouldn't work. The S120 front end is pretty but sure looks heavy. The CRC front end is setup much like the Serpent design and bolts right on if you want to go with a pillow ball type suspension. Also it is easier to change the caster shims on it. Right now I am messing around with the CRC front end on my car using the long upper suspension arm conversion and it is working very nicely. That said the AE/IRS front suspension that comes with the car is pretty awesome in itself.

You can actually get a metric screw set for your BMI, but I wouldn't want to go over the whole car re-tapping all threads..

I didnt need to add weight with the LPF speedo. With the regular GT speed i had to add a 1/4 oz.

Yes. All of the 1/12th cars being sold now are the updated versions.
