The new flex plates work with the standard chassis. The standard chassis just dont have the optional forward hole.
Just placed the pre-order for it with Keira....

Jason, the new parts look great! I had one of the fastest cars at the Gate for the Halloween race, but just needed to find a tic more consistency out of the car. I think these parts will do the trick. Keep up the good work!

Actually the blue was the SE color. I am staying with the gray color for production. Thanks for the compliments buddy.

The flex plates will still come in thick and thin. They will just have more adjustment to them. Thanks for the compliments brutha. This new setup is really cool. I will be shoothing a few more pics this weekend.

New pod looks great. I'll have to get one as soon as they're available.

I like how the motor wires in the picture are just side snipped.

Jason, do you plan to keep making the original DB12R parts?

Yes i will. The standoffs will be changed in look but function is the same. The new ones are just a little more fancy.

So Jason, does this mean the car will have more side bite coming out of the cormers with the new design in the l-plates?

Not really. What we wanted was a more linear spring tension for carpet. For asphalt i run the forward(stock now) hole. The more linear spring tension will make the car not so edgy on carpet and also allow the car to hold a roll so it doesnt want to push mid corner. Moving the weight away from the center pivot will help keep the chassis from dropping low during cornering and causing the rear corners to touch down. I will be testing it out next weekend to prove it all out. This should enhance the cars performance of the car and make it even more adjustable for changing track conditions.
