Thanks buddy. I know blue has been done by AE and yokomo but this will set new standards for the industry. The blue against the satin C/F really pops and with the fancy machining we are doing will really set it off.
Normally i like to have the cars look stealth like with the cool gray color. I figured this would be a little different by making a 1 time offer with a bright color and contrast to really show off the aluminum parts on the car. This will let the BMI aluminum components stand out more and show what makes the DB12R so far ahead of the competition in looks and design.

If you're concerned about damaging aluminum parts the SE might not be the car for you. I, on the other hand, am breathlessly awaiting mine...
And it'll be raced. And raced hard. Probably be my 17.5/Stock car. Already have two "standard" cars built up for 19T and 10.5.

It is pretty much being released as a collectors piece. Some will race it and some will just keep it as a collectable as another form of the hobby. For guys who plan on racing the cars and getting replacement parts consistantly, the regular car is the one to go with. The SE car is going to be a very short 1 time only thing for those who love to have rare things.
