Thanks buddy. Try this link www.bmiracing.com

I really do get deep into our R&D. Sometimes too deep Its alot of fun though.

We have some real good team guys that have really been great. In a market that is tight as far as finding team driver, I feel i got lucky with the ones we have. Not only do they drive well but they are also really good people.

Thanks again for the support.

not yet, i plan on practicing a little if i have time during the summer, and then pick up a transponder and start racing stock once in a while during the winter. It looks like i have a busy summer though, ill be away for two months in croatia, and china for the olympics.

BMI DB12R FTW!!!!! Awesome day today with my DB12R on only it's 2nd outing. I still have a little tweaking to do on it but it was good enough for me to qualify 2nd and win the main by a lap! I'm still getting a little bit of on-power push but all I have to do is let off the gas a smidge and the front bites and sling shots me through the corner.

Yup that car was on

My car is still running really good for me to. Need to up the power a little, but overall I am extremely happy with how my DB12R is running! Took the top spot in my first qualifier and held the Fastest Lap of the Day until InspGadgt blew our doors off in the main! In fact the top 3 qualifiers were running BMI DB12R's!

And I credit most of the improvement to the DB12R!

I have a suggestion that maybe you guys can add to the DB12R's instructions or on the site. That is how to handle the pressure of going from a also ran to a competitor!!!!

Great Car BMI! Not that you did'nt know that already!

Jason, we have another person buy a DB12R ( from Stormer becase he also ordered some parts for his 10 scale as well ). I've put in the brushless system ( Novak 17.5 ) and had the best qualifier ever... 42 laps..... worse lap - 13.4 Best -10.9 ( lap 36 no less ) 37 laps were in the 11s... The car was easy to drive..... The setup, the track asphalt, high traction easy flow... I ran a 78 spur with a 44 pinion 4200 batt... 4mm front, 3.5 mm rear, purple front, yellow rear, .5 bigger in rear, copper spring on shock, 35 shock oil, 10000 in the tubes...

Dam the car was easy to drive.. NIce and smooth..... Time to upgrade the betteries...

I travelled to Kingston for their championship race this weekend and had a good time. After 6 minuted the car went from handling well to pushing badly. When I pulled the car off the track the tyres were covered in carpet fuzz. Everyone else was having rear traction issues and had the carpet fuzz.

I would have liked to have gone to softer front springs (from .020) but managed to leave all of my spare parts back home. All I ended up changing was removing rear droop to at least give some on power steering. It helped but it made the car loose in the early part of the race. I ended up finishing 2nd in the B main which wasn't too bad considering I wasn't local. Running stock against 13.5 isn't easy either.

We ran into similar issues at the snowbirds on the 1st day of practice. What i did was go to black fronts with yellow rears and this helped keep the car consistant until the fuzz went away. Once it did we went back to our lilac and 2x pink fronts.

I was running Lilac fronts and magenta rears. I was the only one not having rear traction issues. My tyres were extremely sticky after the racing and my front tyres were glazing over. I'm not sure if going to a harder or softer tyre would have helped. On the plus side there was minimal tyre wear.

Another racer was running white rears and switched to double pinks (when I told him I was running magenta rears) for the main. It just meant he span out after about 2 minutes instead of 6.

Normally you would want to go to a synthetic tire such as a black front and a gray or yellow rear if the tires are gumming up. This helps alot. THe rubber content in magentas and lilacs will make them gum up quick if the conditions are there. Im glad your car kept from spinning out.
