is the 9650 servo lighter than the 9602? i see most of you running that or the KO. And Adrian's car has that bigger Keyence esc, and its still very low. But im guessing that the difference between say the 800 and the 870g cars is whether its brushless or not, because those things weigh quite a bit.

The Keyence is actually very small and light. With the cap required to be used with all the others (GTX, KO, etc.) its has a smaller footprint.

or you could always get real crazy and take the cases off of your esc and reciever and shrink wrap them.

really? it looks huge in the pictures, compared to the KO. On my chassis, the KO looks like half the keyence, but then i have the power cap right next to it, and it still looks small.

Nope...with the cap the KO covers more space. I know because I was looking for a smaller speedo a year ago and I checked everything out.

I never get a day off. I have been a little frustraded lately with the politics with the hobby so i havent been on here much lately. Nothing against the people here or RC Tech, I just need a break from some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. You guys are real lucky you dont have to deal with this crap. I will be up here now to answer questions more often. I just needed to get away from the hobby for the last week to clear my head.

If you are that worried about having a proky 1:12 car, toss out the NiMH and go with LiPOs.....

I was thinking one of those Losi Mini-T packs.

You may even had have add weight back.

Voltage is still an issue if you are racing. None of the current LiPo packs have a comparable voltage for 4 cell racing.

Inspector,

Do you really live in Hawaii? If so, how come there is an interstate highway there? It doesn't connect to any other states. At best it can go in circles along the shore.

Yeah I was really kidding about the lipo in 1:12.

Yes I live in Hawaii and we do have an "interstate"...yes it's pretty funny. The reason it is an interstate is because it was federally funded.
