sounds good, are there any servos that will fit with no modifications other than the two futabas? maybe a JR?

JR won't fit unless you glue the servo to the chassis or pick up a CRC adjustable mount. What fouls you up is where the servo outputs are.

The KO 949 has the same output spacing as the Futaba and bolts right in. They're what I use and I like them, but they're running double the price of the Futaba 9650 which can be had new now for $50. That's a SCREAMING price for a high quality digital servo.

Thanks a lot, i guess ill go with the futaba, because $105 for the Ko is a bit much, even though i really prefer them. For the futabe, do i cut off those extra mounts? heres a link to it, incase im wrong about the model http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDTB4&P=ML

That's the one. Heliproz has 'em for $50 but if you're buying other things at Tower you come out ahead not paying just to ship the servo.

Yes, you'll cut the 4 mounting lugs off the top and bottom of the case. Use a razor saw and do a REALLY clean job is my recommendation. I've seem people use a Dremel and hack 'em off too.

sounds like a plan to me, thanks. another question though, lol. You know how some carbon fiber is shiny, and some, like on the DB12R is sort of a matte color? Why is this? is it the type, or is there something you have to do to make it shiny?

You will not be disapointed, the 9650 is what I'm using in all my 1/12 and 1/10 pan cars as well. Its the best bang for the buck for servos.

Hey guys,

Our products will now be available from stormer hobbies. I am really happy to see that more and more hobby stores are supporting our product line. Having a large outfit like stormer hobbies supporting us will really help get the BMI products out to everyone. I thank all of the hobby stores and the genral public for supporting us.

Kropy, I PM'd you regarding a dyno you had up for sale a few months ago. Should I assume it's no longer available?

Sorry to go off topic here, just need to get word from Kropy soon, I'm watching a few dynos going for sale in other places, but his is the one I'd prefer it's still for sale.

Thanks
