Default motor wire layout

what size (GA) wires are required to run three motor wires (for a brushless setup) under the batteries instead of running the wires in a big loop to the pod? is there any reason someone would suggest not running the motor wires under the batteries?

i'm currently using 16GA dean's in a big, loose loop to the rear pod. i'm using a lrp sphere with brushed and brushless motors.

16ga is fine. Just make sure that the pod movement is not restricted in any direction when you do your wiring. This is really all you need to worry about. I run my wires over the pod because it is just easier. I dont have the patience to do otherwise.

cool deal bro. Going to super thick flex plates wasnt the answer. The car would just get nutty on you. Im glad the changes worked bro.

He ran in the d main and took it going away... Just imagine if he had some time with the car before the Snowbirds!!!!!

He had a little trouble driving it after he smack into the wall.... He expected it to be tweaked..... But it wasn't...

Ive been running my BMI for 3 months now and have yet to tweak it, every time I put it on the board its perfect, no screws to mess with is the best part!
