I have also been liking the red on carpet. It seems that the copper works well also. I had a problem running the copper at our last carpet race because the carpet was kinda loose and after the 7 minute mark the car started getting funky. I went back to the red and it fixed it.

That is correct. I had a couple guys who got there cars from the first run of cars say they had an issue with breakage so i immediately looked into the problem and this has fixed the issues they were having

I think I bought my car during the second run. The pod plate I have looks the same as the one pictured. I'll keep an eye on that area tho

BTW, I was in Florida for New Years, in the Orlando area. We drove out to the Gulf side for a day at the beach. I just google mapped BMI and we weren't too far in passing. I shouldve called up the shop and see if I couldve gotten a tour of where DB12R's are born . Not sure if the gf would be too happy. I doubt she would want to see anything related to RC while on vacation

Where have you been running your DB12R? Come out this Sunday to The Track. A bunch of peeps are trying to make it out for some 1/12th action.

iz true darnold. I am planning on running a lot more 12th scale. I will have a 19T in my car, but I have no problems making it an open class.

Default Kimbrough Servo Savers

Hello,
Can someone advise me what the correct Kimbrough Servo Save part # is to order for the DB12R. I am not sure which is the correct one.

And is there any easy way to get the spring back in one that has come apart?
For the life of me I couldn't get one back together after 1-2 hours of struggling with it.

Thanks

That depends from the type of the servo you are using, they can all be found at BMI webstore

I've been racing it in my closet

I've been trying to get out to The Track but the past year has been pretty busy. I went up there the day of the sizzler to practice but I've been trying to get back up there ever since.

I wont be up there Sunday but I'll be up there all day Saturday to practice, Stock, T/A, and 1/12

Hopefully I can start going up there Wednesday nights after stuff settles down at my real job (not hobbytown)

Default damper tube sauce

hi all - what is everyone's favorite damper tube sauce for the DB12R? i'm looking for something thick to run on 360 Speedway's high-traction carpet.

I've had one race outing with the car and tried OFNA 5K and 10K gear oil but both are not think enough. I found some 7+ year old (I've been out of the hobby for a while) Corally 'Hard' silicone and an unlabled squeeze tube of something even thicker than the Corally stuff that I'm thinking about trying (I remeber using that stuff back in the day on a carpet knife).

15000 wt will work good. I have been using windtunnel shurlube in the tubes. I like to go back and fourth between #3 and 4.
