By Jaco 37 would be lilac and 42 something above purple.
Last time I ordered from another supplier I bought BSR fronts orange/pink but I'm not sure if thay still have dual compounds or not.

There really isn't much to die black on the car, just the servo saver, center spring, and my transponder. I did manage to black out all of the wires going to the reciever and motor as well which made a big difference. Pics can be taken at the 'Birds, but I don't have a digital cam other than the one on my phone.

Used to do it a lot back in the day and never had an issue with strength...broke just as many non-dyed ones as dyed ones...LOL

lol, it just looks like dirty plastic, but i dont think i will dye it, because im not sure what to use to do it, and i dont want it becoming too brittle, which it probably wouldnt become.

which springs do you guys use. is the gold one fine. or for a carpet track, should i get the blue or red?

The gold works good, but last weekend I tried the red spring. Wow! I think I'll be staying with that. The car was planted and still had plenty of steering. Can't wait to run it again this weekend.

There will be a DB12R, TFource, and a few others in attendance Sunday. People are saying run watcha brung. So lets roll.

Jason/BMI is selling Speed Passion stuff now. His site has them online. I have yet to run any SP Mods in 1/12th. Maybe someone on this thread can give you input or a comparison to the LRPs. From what I have seen their Mod motors are definitely up to snuff.

The original rear pod had a weak point in it and from what I've seen, it would flex where the screw is and eventually split. The redesigned pod has fixed this problem and has been around for a while now. This is the redesigned pod and I've circled where the original splits.
