I'm using these on 64P, fits just fine. I put them on before the previous meeting, and I got a dirty sound from my car, I changed a new spur, but it didn't change anything. Could it be that the covers are inducing that awful sound?

Any time my diff starts to sound nasty i change the diff balls, washers, and outside bearing. The covers dont touch anything so it shouldnt make any noises. Check it with the covers off and see if it still makes the noise. It is probably not the covers though. Keep us posted.

All seems in good shape, it's very smooth when turning it by hand and it's not slipping. Balls are ceramic. I will try to flip over the rings and sand them, as the balls have already created a small groove on one side. Other than that I don't see where else could be the problem.. Will get to run the car on Sunday. Thanks for advice

Yeah, Try flipping the rings over. Ceramic balls are really great but you need to make sure that you cut the diff in real good when using them. You want to make sure the diff doesnt slip at all otherwise it will beat the rings up quick. Let me know how it goes this weekend buddy.

If the diff balls and rings are fine it is usually the outer bearing in the hub. Even the slightest amount of grit in there gets exaggerated by the pressure exerted by the cone washer.
