Cleveland was awesome. Craig's and Jason's cars looked awesome on the track. I saw alot of DB12R's there. My car was running good until the last round of practice, when my car glitched in the straight and when full speed head on to the barrier, and I broke the center pivot, split one of the side flex plates, split the lower pod plate, and split the side nerf wing. It was one heck of a crash. I had plenty of spares, but I didn't have the carbon fiber pieces. So I had to break out the CRC, which I thought was good, but even with all of my setup changes, the CRC still couldn't touch the DB12R. The DB12R had significantly more corner speed and handled the bumps better. Thank god my local track, 360 RC Speedway, had parts when I came home, so I stocked up like a bear hibernating. There is a big trophy race at 360 RC Speedway this weekend, so I will let you know how I do. I know the DB12R is really popular there, so if a bunch of us work on set-up, there could be a victory looming.

Sorry to hear that bro. I hate when that happens. It sounds like you had my luck. I can bring a whole spare car and if there is 1 screw missing out of the kit, it will be the one i lose when im at a big race Good luck at 360 this weekend. Sal just ordered a bunch of stuff from me for this weekend. The new crossbraces were in there

Yeah, I got that cross brace, it looks pretty sweet, I am looking forward to testing it on the track. And about Cleveland, yeah my luck is like that, but a bad day of racing, is still better than a great day at school.

I have the DB12R right now im reviewing for RCCA. I track tested it and drove it for the first time in cleveland. I didnt get a full day of friday qualifying in, so the first time i drove the car was during the 3 min practice friday night. I hadnt driven 1/12th scale in a year, but got the hang of it again pretty quick. My DB12R with the stock settings was pretty dialed. I started with full throw on the steering and i ended up turning the dual rate down to 75%. I also always turn down the dual rate to -40% to take away the twitchyness and make any car easy to drive. I didnt have enough time to dial in the motor and im sure i had the wrong gearing, but with more speed im sure i could have placed higher. Overall, i really liked the car.

Great to see a 1/10 car. Its getting closer to being an oval car....HINT HINT.

You'll need to move the sway links towards the center pivot and put those hefty batteries on the left side. There should be enough room between the sway links and under the center shock to mount an LRP comp or the GTB. I am thinking if you just move swap the left sway link with the right sway link it would force the links closer and would be no reason to change the motor pod bottom plate. The only change needed would be extra chassis for the left side battery (6cell cutout for lipo) and moving the sway link holes closer to center.

There are a ton of other changes too that would be nice: Flipped sevo mounting, Left Side Steering kit, totally adjustable front track for a-arms, VCS side shocks, slider edition, fully adjustable center shock mount, offset pod, rear steer sway links(long and short sway links to create axle steer)
