By the way, Your car just got picked up by the UPS guy. You should have it shortly. I left a set of tires on there that i used to set the car up with. They are pink rears and lilac fronts. Throw the car out on the track with them and see how she runs. The rears are going to make it push a little but it will allow you to practice and get used to the car without wasting a set of tires.

Let me know when those front ride heigh adjusters are done? I remember you talking abou them, is there an update? As you can see, I used those front ride height adjusters that came with the car, but still wasnt enough for the stock size of te jaco prims, so i found some washers out in teh garage.. pretty ghetto lol

I used the #2 shims out of my new shim kit. They will be on your car when it gets there. I have them from 1-6 in .5mm increments. I used those shims and i put ride height adjusters in the rear to accomodate the tires i put on there. Your diff balls, diff rings, stock spacers are all in a bag that i shipped with the car.

The new ride height adjusters for the front arms are now available.

set up talk here:
Ran it yesterday, pink rear , lilac front, 5 k lube in tubes, and kingpins, thick side plates, 4 mm front, 3.5 mm rear ride height, Parma speed 8 med grip carpet, 10.5 brushless geared at 59mm rollout, 2o frn spring, silver center shock, 1 deg camber, split spacer for castor. car was nice, consistent, seemed to push a bit mid cornor and off the corner,

Please share some setups so we can compare, I am only one so far in the area running it on carpet, Nova is runnin his on asphalt

btw cant slam the body too much with the BL motor tabs hittin the body

try fixing the rake in your car and put the ride height at 3.5 in the front and 4 in the rear, fixing the ride height will make your car exit better, what shock oil are you running and what ball stud in the front of the shock are you running

Hey Casey ,

As for your ride height you can either go two way's the first one is to have your front ride height level with the rear. 3.5 front 3.5 rear. Your front is a little higher which makes the car have a slight push.

The second option is called chassis rake, you can set up your front alittle lower than the rear. 3.0 front 3.5 rear with the front being lower it will help the car with steering.

Your center spring also will help with steering as well go up to a blue or gold spring with 35w oil and see how that feels. Where the shock connects to the antenna mount under the ballstud you can put some shims underneath to raise the shock slightly that also will help with some on power steering.

As for your rear tire try going to a yellow I think the pinks rear is giving you to much rear bite.the best combo would be a yellow rear and a lilac front.

You did not specify where your batteries where positioned I would move them all the way to the rear that also gives you more steering.

If you can put your whole detailed setup up so we all can review it on here we all can pinpoint on what more you can do.

Hope this helps If ya have any more questions fell free to ask

Mike
