This is just 1 of the reasons i like to do business with him. He is one of very few who are into quality of the product. I appreciate that and it makes it easy to deal with him because we are on the same page. I also like that he stands behind his products. That shows dedication and pride.

Kropy,
Thank you for the compliment. I'm just sad that bad shock caps made it to our customers.

Dave,
It happens, you can not be everywhere all the time. But like J said, its what you do when there is a problem that seperates you from everyone else. Keep up the great work.

J,
One more time PM....LOL

I recieved my replace shock cap a few days ago and built my new one, everything is good.

I was hoping i didnt have to take off teh shock everytime to install the battery on this car, im just lazy lol

So I understand this... making my total shock length 66mm will give me about a 1.5mm pod droop, then i want to make sure all four corners of the pod are equal in doing so i would adjust the spring tension after i get my front and rear ride hieght dialed in?

Also about this 5k damper fluid on the front kingpins? Do i just lube about the bottom half of the kingpin so the lube doesnt get them top 4 shims yucky then?

And for you GTB nerds, what brushless profile do i want to use? im think like #3 then? i dont like driving with 25% drag brake as that what it says for that profile, so once i did put it on that profile, i put it down to 9% or something like that... what profiles you guys use?

Ben

I posted a pic of the DB12r on my clubs website to try to get some more sales for Jason. Ill post some of mine on there when i get mine all done and the new bodies here

Nooooooooooo!!

I'm finally getting around to putting my kit together and I can't find the steering blocks. I might be able to pick them up from the LHS.

Are these Associated blocks the correct part?

It's not a problem. I can't say for sure whether they weren't in the kit or I managed to loose them.

The LHS is only a couple blocks away so no biggie. Thanks for the quick reply, Jason.

i dont have to pop off the shock when I insert batteries, I used a rod end from my mugen MTX4 and i use a screw to attach it to the antenna mount. I just unscrew the screw and the shock is free. No more mangled ballcups from pliers . Ill have to post a pic of my DB12R on monday from work. Im on dialup at home

SlamMan - Nice to see you are getting some good equipment to run on our new carpet track. Bring the car to the last pavement race, as I have been looking at this car as well for running brushless.

FYI - Our new club is setting up a 60' x 120' carpet track running twice a month in Denver. Club is CORRC, and info can be found here oin RCTech - Regional racing - Colorado!!!
