Lundsford long Fat Boy motor screws. Worth their weight in gold, which is ironic because they are titanium screws with aluminum washers.

88/33 with 1.9" tires is ~57mm roll out. Thats what I ran all day. I went to a 34 pinion when the tires got smaller to keep the same roll out.

I ran a 88/21 with 1.85" tires with an LRP X11 5.5 bonded.
Aight, I am going to order up some pinions and just want a good starting point. what rollout can you say for a 13.5 motor then?

Here are some pics of the new BMI Carbon servo brace and the CRC servo brace from their website.

FYI, the BMI brace is straight out of the machine after washing. We did no sanding or cleaning up before taking the pic. Thats what carbon cut on a $200k CNC vertical mill with sharp carbide router and drill bits looks like.
Now, now Adrian... you know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Anyway, your post prompted me to update our site to the production version of the graphite servo saver brace...

OH... and these are straight off our Dremel... no wait, it is not a name brand Dremel, it is $9 plain label rotary tool with a dull butterknife bit..

Sexy huh?

:-)

Frank

Hey Frank,

My apologies for that. That was a tasteless gesture.

oh man, that new servo brace really looks sexy (the BMI one). And the CRC one was out of stock at the moment, when I made an order from rcmodel this week. Jason, put one to my order I'll send you the money today.

Thanks kroppy for the pic. If Jason will again forget to put the stickers to my order I'll just go to my old workplace and make them on my own I used to be an operator on the big printers+cutters

I think some guys are running a 50 pinion with a 78 spur on there cars with the 13.5. I am not certain on the roll out but i am almost sure it will be extremely hard to overgear that BL. Let me know what you come up with
