i did those before but i got lazy and i changed them to deans connectors now i can change motors in about 1 minute

i also ran the motor with out the internal fan and the motor seemed to have alot more top end!!

What about temps, did it run any hotter?

not really i ran the 3.5 geared at a 9.42 fdr and it came off the track after 6 minutes around 150 degrees

Austin was running lower than 8.0 fdr on 6 cells with a 4.5. You need to gear up a ton. I ran a 7.5 fdr on lipo with a 5.5 and nothing got too hot. We were both crap your pants fast at SS Speedway.

I got them from a place overseas (Racing Factory) but as skypilot says, Schumacher will have them soon
