for the old style tabs, there is now an add-on attatchment to make it horizontal.

Yea, Feigao started doing that a few months ago it seems. They're so innovative!

I asked Adam that exact question earlier this week and he said they had run Novak motors with the SP esc and it wqorks perfect. No thermal or cogging issues. I was under the impresion he was talking about the Feigo (sp?) middle level esc when I talked with him, but I didn't ask specifically if it was the GT or the Feigo. I would think if the Feigo ran it though the GT would work identically. Makes sense too since they both have the hall sensor inputs. I'd like to know if/how the SP esc's run sensorles motors. Correct me if Im wrong, but aren't they advertised to run both sensored and sensorless motors???

With the middle-level Feigao ESC you have to run sensored motors.

The GT can run both.

Having played with pre-production versions of both, I'm very impressed so far. I like the GT especially, lots of nice features and many useful adjustments, but not too many to make it complicated. It's also easy to setup, and the external programming unit is great!

Both ESC's are supplied with caps - a smaller one with the Feigao and a larger one with the GT.

A quote of a quote from an USA site;

I have just pulled this from an American site:

Speed Passion have been in contact to inform us about their new range of brushless stock motors. Following the success of the company's 'Super Sportsman' series of brushless stock motors they have now introduced the full range of their next generation brushless stock motors called the 'Ultra Sportsman', that includes a 9.5/19T, 10.5T, 11.5/23T and 13.5/27T. The new Ultra Sportsman provide a longer product life cycle, super long life with consistent performance & power for at least 4 to 6 months and all motors have been designed for high performance in on and off road racing.

4-6 months?
and there was me thinking BL = long life
I have to agree, only 6 months!

REALLY....that's not good news

Regardless, since I had some bad luck with my first 9.5R, SP sent a replacement out. *good deal*
But I ordered another motor too...the Stock Rotor isn't as long and looks a bit different. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? Is one of them better than the other? The one on the left is the stock rotor....

Don't sweat the 6 month thing. I am sure it is some sort of translation issue. Chinese and small Japanese companies have put out some of the most bizzare press releases imaginable.

Those don't look like the other Feigao rotors I've seen. New style?
