When are you putting up the 50 grand to win an RC race?

You can put whatever you want on TV. All it takes is money.

Bullfrog, you answered your own question and you didn't even know it.
The Domino's & Rock-Paper-Scissors Championships have some thing in common that R/C Championships have never had= A Grand Prize of $50,000.00

The sad truth is that "The real world" competes for money.

Until the R/C world realizes that simple fact, it will always be at a disadvantage with corporate sponsorships from out side the R/C community.

Don't worry Bullfrog, RC Pro is working hard to change things for the better.

Bullfrog there is a show online that I am addicted to. it is called rctv the web address is www.rctvlive.com I like it because I can watch whenever I want and dont have to worry about what time it is on. they have a little bit of everything on the show. It runs about 1/2 hour in length. I guess the only people that cant watch it are the ones that dont have the internet. I dont know of anybody that does not have it though. I am getting an I phone so I can watch on the go.

People can join in on Rock Paper Scissors for free and dominoes is pretty affordable as well. RC on the other hand is expensive to "get into"... thus fewer people interested and less motivation for sponsors to fork out cash.

Agreed though that we could be doing better.

I would say 500cc Lawn Tractor Racing is rather expensive...

No but when "college girls gone wild" can get onto TV, why not RC?
