One of my favorite things about 1/12th scale road course is the 8 minutes. The reason I love 8 minutes is the mental challenge to stay focused. Usually, your mind wanders a little, and you end up relaxing too much and driving in the middle of the track. Then you tell yourself, "Snap out of it! Focus! Hit those corners, hit those exits. Focus! That's better".

No explination needed there are things you leave alone. I started in 1986 when you ran any electric class it was either stock or mod.

Onroad electric was either 12th scale Mod, or 12th scale stock. When they came out with 10th pan it was either stock or mod. You had a choices what to race. Then we had less choices larger crowds more fun , today its more choices less crowds more bitchin.

How long will it take before people realize that they need to stop crying, put the tracks back out where people can see them driving by in thier cars ex Parking lots.

All this stuff that is happining can be reversed.

Classes should be for onroad,

1/10 touring stock
1/10 touring mod
1/12 stock
1/12 mod

People also need to be informed on the true meaning of winning your main (c,d,e,f, what ever) means you raced against your level of driving. Just realize not everyone is an A main driver. There will always be someone faster.

Another great advantage of running 8 minutes is the fact that you have time to recover from problems. Usually, the better skilled drivers will rise to the top even if they make a mistake, someone else takes them out, or run into a corner marshall's foot. Whereas in 4 or 5 minute races, it's much harder to make a comeback.

I'd have to agree with Scottrick - I have seen more time wasted with waiting for drivers, or computer issues than running another heat of 1/12 would add for 3 qualifiers and a main.

I do like the idea of the TC running for fast lap time and then run one qualifier and then the main.

1/12 Scale should get 3 qualifiers and then the main!! Maybe TC's should have to run on Tuesday / Thursdays so we can get more 1/12 scale time on Sunday!!

they could save race program time by running more than 10 cars per heat, since 1/12 scale cars are smaller and you can fit more on the track.
